I had a Suzuki Sail 9.9 for my US 25'. I sold the boat 8 yrs ago. The engine replaced an old Merc 9.8. The Suzuki worked fantastic. Excellent reverse thrust - could stop on a dime, long leg never came out of the water even in big swells, only complaint was the top end was a little slower than the Merc, but would definitely buy one again. It was a 2 stroke with oil injection rather than mix in the tank. Very handy indeed.

Good Waranty

Check out their promotions. A couple years back they were offering double waranty. 6 years versus 3. Not a bad deal.

Had a 2-stroke 6hp

on a Cat 22. It was about 6 years old when I sold the boat....best running motor I've ever had. Started 99/100 on the first pull, no foolin'.Brad on the Willy T
