Some of the companions we cruise with are surprised at our inability to eliminate the halyard noise on our H26 (lines run inside the mast). I’ve read numerous suggestions, sponges or tennis balls inside the mast, threading the halyards inside of PVC pipe within the mast. Has anyone succeeded in reducing the halyard noise enough to warrant the work of taking the mast apart? Thanks in advance.
