I have a 92 35.5 with the Standard cockpit speakers. One of the grills was accidentally crushed and I am having trouble finding a replacement. The local marine stores tell me I have to buy the complete speakers and that the covers are not available separately. Can anyone recommend a replacement or source for these. Thanks

Seaworthy Speaker Cover

If you are talking about the 6" sq white covers, they are from a SEA4612 speaker. A number of years ago I bought 4 new covers from a company called Prospec, Inc. in Mt Pleasant, N.C. Their telephone number at that time was 843-849-9037 and they cost $5 each.

Seaworthy Speker cover free

As Jim mentioned you can get replacements, I got mine free direct from the manufacturer. They wanted to charge me $5.00 each but then he decided to just send them for free. Just look for their website and call them. Ozana

Speaker Info

I did the same with my speakers mounted on the side of the helm seats on my 35.5. I keep kicking the grill covers and breaking the plastic. You can get replacements, but I chose to get new cheapo speakers Standards at $39.00 per pair. I figure the sun kills the plastic and makes the grills brittle after awhile. Then . I bought aluminum speaker grill covers at an auto parts place [$9.95] and double faced tape them in place. Fred Miller
