Chris, .030 works well and while you're at it
make very sure the spark plug wire ends are not corroded or damp and that the rubber boots are still soft. Check both ends on the wires.If you should have trouble with oil fouling the plugs open the gap to .032 or even up to .035.In all the racing we've done I've found NGK or ND plugs to be the absolute best. Any NAPA or similar store should have them.Ray
