Hey any of you Southern California Sailors! My daughter (Heather Marie) who is 23 years old and a graduate student at Cal. State Long Beach, is looking for some sailing adventures in the Southern California area. She is living in the Huntington Beach area and would consider anything from Marina Del Rey to Dana Point to be within her commute area. She would like to find a club or a group of sailors that is looking for another crew member to sail with 1-2 days per month. If anyone can direct her in the right direction please contact me thru the site or email me at steve@sdcsoftware.com

Thanks John.

John: Thank you. This is a good start. I suppose that she could meet someone with a boat here that can hook her up with people looking for crew members. If anyone else has any other ideas, please let me know.

Hi Steve, another thought...

Both "Latitude 38" and "Santana" run crew lists, it sure wouldn't hurt to get her name on the list. Even though Latitude 38 focuses on your area it's pretty widely read down south too. I put a link to their online crew list info below. "Santana" is the LA area rag, I'll see if I can dig up a copy. I think the lists come out in the next month or so. Who knows? it might get her on a boat...

Steve I keep my 260/270 in King Harbor which is in Redondo Beach, and I would be happy to take your daughter sailing. Just give me a couple of days notice. My work number is (310) 812-8214, and I have voice mail if I'm out of the office. Dan S/V "Unruly Julie"
