Source? Stainless bolts for mast

I have to replace two bolts in my masthead. They are 5 1/2" long and 3/8" dia.Does anyone know of a source? Can't find at BoatUS, West, Sailnet, Defender.Thanks, Mike

Sure..Try this..

Go to "mcmastercarr.com" or "mscdirect.com". Yor will find several types of stainless bolts. I think you will probably want the 316 stainless. It distorts before breaking.

Also...

At McMaster-Carr, type in "cap screws" then, stainless steel, then hex head, there you will find 18-8 stainless steel bolts for 5" lengths.Good luck.

Also try www.jamestowndistributers.comI looked in their catalog and 3/8-16 x 5 1/2 in 18-8 stainless are about $1.30 ea
