Currently I am using two 4 pin thru deck connectors to get power to my mast lights. I need to add a NMEA2000 cable and would like to consolidate the power to one connector and use the other for the NMEA cable.

Does anyone gave a source for 5/6 pin 12v (Three 0.2 amp LEDs and one ?.? amp halogen deck light) in-cable or thru deck connectors?

Thanks

Check out delcity.net - page 80. I use them to connect all of my mast wiring. Identical application to your installation. To order a 346 page catalog - (800-654-4757

digiKey.com has every kind of connector you can imagine. I find the catalog easier to navigate than the web site though. The catalog has the engineering drawings showing size and pinout etc.

If you're looking for a thru-deck connection then I'd go either with the WestMarine plug that Rick shows, or alternatively the cable clam that "tommays" recommends. For cable to cable connections you should check also check out ElectroShield at http://www.electroshield.com/ . They're the OEM supplier for all the electronic goodies we have. I've purchased and wired in many of those connectors when installing removable electronics at the helm.

After seeing how many seasons and abuse people get out of the cheapo molded trailer light connectors, I'm now using that on our small boat for the mast light connection. The connector pins are coated in Grote dielectric grease for corrosion prevention and easier operation.
