Sound system on Oday 25

I am considering installing a sound system on my 78 Oday 25. If any of you 25 owners have done this, do you have suggestions for installation, such as location for the receiver and speakers?As an aside, West Marine has a sale (which prompted my interest)including the MXCP50 radio/CD player with two 60 watt speakers, marked down from 249 to 149. Does anyone know anything about this unit?Thanks in advanceAlan

Alan, I mounted my receiver under the bridge deck near the electric panel. I mounted the speakers in the v-berth area on the headliner with brackets. Two other speakers are located in the utility bins behind the settee backrests. A stick on antenna tape is located along the headliner in the pilot berth area. (Under the cockpit seats) Sound is great. Hope this helps. Ron

Receiver location

Hello Alan. I mounted my receiver on the starboard bulk head. The back of the receiver is under the bathroom sink so it is a very clean instalation. I mounted the speakers on the right and left bulk head.Doug
