Sospenders conversion - Auto to Manual

Hi All:I want to convert my auto inflate SOSpenders from Auto inflate to manual. And, while that is a straight forward process, trying to purchase just the little green inflator pin has become a major project. West Marine will gladly sell me a complete rearm kit for $30 which includes the green pin, but I cannot find a source for the green pin only. What good are the spare CO2 cartridges that come with the the SOSpenders if you have to buy a complete rearm kit which includes the cartridge ? I did find a kit that included only the bobbin and the green pin, but for a manual conversion, I don't need the bobbin either.Any sugestions ??Thanks....... Jeff

I have both kinds

When I want to convert my auto to manual all I needed was to remove the pellet that fires the auto inflater leaving the lanyard to do the inflating instead. Am I missing something?

Alan.....the Green Pin is expendable.....

... when the CO2 cartridge is fired. Mine has been fired, and I need to replace the cylinder and the Green Pin. Since I already have a number of cylinders, all I need is the Green Pin.Jeff

WM sells them

They are on the bottom of page 170, WM# 8667263. I just bought a set of 6 for $2.99 from WM. They also sell the yellow bobbins. When shopping WM you cannot just use the web site, you must also use the actual printed catalog because the web site search tools don't find everything.
