My transom continues to be very sooty and difficult to clean from the engine exhaust.
It is a new 27 HP Westerbeke Universal with only 61 hrs. Is there an engine additive or fuel pump adjustment that will change the fuel / air mix and burn cleaner.
I use auto fuel, not off road diesel since my marina does not sell diesel and its not convenient to go to another for the difference in cost.
