"Call me part of the Admiralty." -- probably been called worse at one time or another.
In the meantime, interesting where he has the turning blocks. Not the standard position as the lines come clear back. Mine hit the hatchway top guide rails.
Or is that your Capri 25 cabin top we are looking at?

My Capri 22's turning blocks are set up very similarly. I took out the outer bolt of the turning block and replaced it with an "eye". I clip the halyards to the eye when they are not in use.Hershey said:
But originally I put them in there to use as an aid to steadying the mast when raising it. I attach load straps to the eyes and to an extra goose neck slide I had hanging around. The whisker pole doubles as a gin-pole - also steadied with load straps. The main sheet block is used for the mechanical advantage.

You know you guys had me totally confused, because I forgot how my cabintop was arranged on my 22... NOW it makes sense to me.

I hadn't realized the cabintop on the 22 was so short... but I guess it was/is.
