Yes, very nice. Was it hard to make new cushions? I was thinking about trying to do that sometime.

I noticed your front bulkhead in the V-Berth. Would you happen to have a template for that? I need to make one for my 25.

Ward, I happen to have my front bulkhead in my garage. I took it out to paint it. I can help you out. Let me know

Geehaw, Looks like you know how to sew - Nice winter job, looking good!
My wife and I renewed all our cushions (software) 2 years back. We used commercial 4" foam and reduce cloth thickness (sides) to 3.3" and cut foam width and length a bit longer than material size. Key process was "Stuffing" (foam) should be larger than the box you are placing it in...

hello

when working with foam material, and trying to get it into a smaller package.. the secret is to place the foam in a plastic bag, and use your vacuume hose to suck out all the air, and the foam will shrink.. then tie off the plastic bag, and insert it into the cover.. once the plastic bag and foam are inside the cover, open the bag.. the foam will expand back out to the original size and fill the cover completely.. then reach inside and rip the plastic bag, and you can work it out... voila.. size 5 in a size 2 coontainer...

i have used this technic when i built furnature, and want to over stuff the cushions for comfort.. it really works.. later this year i will be making new cushions for my Mac25.. right now i am more concerned with getting new ropes, sails, cam cleats, and blocks.. just trying to get my project up and ready for sailing weather..

Ward, sounds like Sdstef can help ya out. I have no template. They were pretty hard to make. Time consuming for sure. I never really sewed before. I learned from Sailrites Youtube video. Made a couple small practice ones and went at it. Definitely not professinol looking but better then what was in there. Emergpa, no you did not tell me that. Anchorage is 355 miles from Fairbanks so they are bit from me. By the way the crow flys they are about 100 miles from where I sail. By road more like 300. Greg
