To all, I wanted to say thanks to a couple of people for their help. I had a mast problem and had to replace my old mast. I wasn't happy, but everything turned out for the best. First, the people on this board -- Crazy Dave, Mike, Rick, Clayton, Tom, and others -- good advice from everyone (several e-mails from Crazy Dave). Second, some commercial help (I have no connection to any of these except as a customer). Hunter -- good help from them, and some good advice. It sometimes takes a call or two, but I was happy with them. US Spars -- fantastic help -- lots of good advice -- lots of help -- post sell! I can't say enough about them, and especially Julian the CEO. Wonderful. BoatUS -- great service with my claim -- very fast, courteous and helpful. This was my very first marine insurance claim since I bought my first boat in 1979. I was a bit nervous about how it would go, by they were very good. I feel fortunate that it went as smoothly as it did, and I am grateful to all. So grateful that I wanted everyone to know. Michael
