I'm with you man....just watched AlabamaRanger's video and it brings tears to my eyes when I look out the window at the fair winds and realize in a couple of hours I'll be back at work in the 100+ degree heat with no day off till next Friday....Oh well, at least I had last Thursday.

Fun video! What is that gizmo on the back stay at 0:19 seconds in? Some sort of adjustable cleat that mounts on the wire? I want one like that to park my topping lift!

Thanks for the good reviews on the video. For the next one, I hope to get some more bikini-clad "talent". (Though I've been hoping for more of that since I hit first hit puberty).
The cleat on the back stay was put on by a PO. As far as I know, the boat has always had a topping lift from the mast head though. I used it to lash an american flag to the back stay last year.
I have one on each of my shrouds....a great place to clip the loose ends of the halyards when you put sails away......
I did notice in Weeniie!s video that someone had stolen his wooden steering device and put some round thingy in the middle of his cockpit.......not sure how he can make the boat go where he wants.....but we all learn to make do ?

Sunday turned out to be a perfect day to be out on the bay. There were less than 2' swells and about 12kts of wind. It was so flat that there were no white cap. Here is a picture of my friend Steve who is wisely wearing the mandatory life vest since he can't swim. The cloud cover cleared about 1pm makiing for a perfect 68*. We got speeds of 6.5 to 6.8.

anyway no rhyme or reason to these photos just random stuff of the lake where I live us doin some sailing pictures of my boat I've takin heck even a couple of us riding around on dads pontoon
