Launched the boat yesterday. Put headsail up and discovered the turning blocks for the jib sheets are gone. Two snap shackle blocks on the toe rail. At least they were old. What size and weight rating for 150 genoa should I get and where to get used ones hopefully?

there's a lot of boat junk yards around here ; Norfolk and Annapolis has a lot of used sail gear shops there maybe jersey would as well West marine of course will have in stock

That SUCKS...just looked at those blocks and they can go for $200 each! I never leave mine out over the winter. Be sure to get the ones with the padding on them as they slap around a lot.

Defender has Wichards with rubber cheeks on sale for $150.

Well I think I'll just use standard single lewmar blocks with a shackle as I never move them anyway. I won't leave them out anymore lesson learned.

I never used to on my old boat but trim is noticeably better if I do with my 135. I have been playing with luff tension too.
