Jack- I'm up the road aways on toms river- your jpgs don't make me feel any better but your photos are all I have to gauge the situation as I live 90 miles north of TR. I looked at the Seaside beach cam and it appears like I'm looking thru a periscope in the North Atlantic. Martells on the Bay cam which usually give me view of conditions on the Barnegat Bay, is turned off ;< .

Looking forward to your next set of jpg posts. It gonna be a long night.

Jim

Jack,
Thanks for the photos. That is what I expect parts of NYC to look like in the next high tide tonight.
Stay safe.

Some of the photos look like they were taken from a webcam, can you share the link?

I'm with Jim. Boat is on the hard at Mariner's in Barnegat. Trying to figure if surge will be high enough to float it off the cradle. Dying for photos of the area.
Your photos help to guess that maybe it will be alright.
I've been looking for web cams on LBI but most are not working.

Hey Jack, you on the Hard?
Yes. At Viking marine in New Gretna. Up on a hill so hopefully no water issues. Wind is a different story!

At earlier high tide, was about 1 ft from breaching pilings. Don't know how they made out with the 8pm high. Here's that pic and a cape may wave.

Just dealing with wind at work now. FD has been out a lot but we've been slow for the most part.

They're from Golden Nugget's security cameras. No access to it but they are posting marina pics for slip holders to keep track. Will post some when I get them.

NJ coast is getting pounded again from the back end of this storm. I'm about 30 mi inland and am waiting for our next round. Marina officials report that high tide went ok and the docks did not breach the top of the pilings. Just hope that my 310 is ok!!! Guess I won't know until the end of the week!!
