Amazing video! Probably done that a hundred times and wasn't the least bit shaken. He's going to see a whole lot worse than that. And he obviously knows that.

Not bad. Snow is not usually the problem. Wind causes more headaches but this storm is only supposed to blow 20 from the north which is a gentle breeze by Maine winter standards.

Already canceled work for tomorrow so I can keep ahead of the snow accumulating on the cover. The breeze will help with that. I can also work on my fuel polishing system. The rest of the parts needed should be waiting when I get home today.

I will snap some photos tomorrow to give you guys something to envy:). Especially those in the warmer climates!

"D", you should stop by for a drink sometime. My den is a pretty famous bar around here!

I'll do that! It's Don. I'm on the other site as DonScribner so folks would know who they're talking to. Should have done that here.

My company has already closed for tomorrow too. I brought a bunch of work home so as not get behind. I design skylights for a living so some of the stuff I can do on my PC. Attached are a couple of my projects. I just took care of the 4 inches in the drive to get ready for the 18 that are coming. It's Maine.

Doesn't look like it fazed him too much... a simple adjustment to avoid the pitchpole. Viewing this and the related videos of Sobedo suggests the boat is always on the edge but this very experienced sailor has no problem handling it. Actually the greatest danger at such speeds would be hitting a submerged object, like a chunk of ice, a lost container or a whale.

You have to be impressed with the French sailors and their high tech, high speed, circumnavigating multihulls.

Nice work Don. Beautiful skylights. Tough for me to bring work home but I do have some administrative work to do. Fuel polishing system will definitely get some attention though.

you can see him running below to change his shorts. Oh, wait, that would be me. :)
