need a solo mast raisng system for 1966 oday daysailor 1
If your daysailor doesn't have a hinged tabernacle, you may need to have a rigger install one. It involves cutting the mast. Then, you'll need some kind of a mast support that you can build yourself and install in the stern or into the gudgions on the transom where your rudder hangs. The mast crutch will enable you to pin the tabernacle with the two side stays connected. When you build that mast crutch, put a small roller in it so that you can roll the mast forward or aft.

dwyer marine sells a 2 pin tabernacle with blocks attached to each part,or just one side, depending in instal. just cut mast above cabin top, attach half of tab to it and other half to cabin roof and make a compression post to fit from cabin overhead to mast step about same as mast part cut off, so that mast remains the same height when done.
