I hope many of you have been following the incredible voyage of Matt Rutherford, who is nearing the completion of a circumnavigation of the America's. Matt's boat, an aging 27-ft Albin-Vega, has really taken a beating, as had Matt. (He was nearly run down by a freighter yesterday). He is currently off the coast of Guyana and about 2,000 miles from the end of his journey in Annapolis, MD. Chesapeake Bay sailors should follow his progress on his website and perhaps welcome this intrepid sailor home on the water as he comes up the Chesapeake. Quite a story and quite a sailor he.

Agreed Warren. It is quite a good read.
He is doing it (in part) to raise money for the Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating group which helps disabled people get out on the water.
Wish I could be in Annapolis when he arrives in a month or so. I'm hoping he does arrive.
