Howdy, I have a soling that I am daydreaming of turning ito a pocket cruiser. I am told that this HAS been done. Can anyone give any info on this or point me in the right direction? Thanks, Chuck in Texas
A book/ beach camping and coastal cruising by Ida Little has lots of refrences to converting boats to cruising, go to a book store Look up authors and her name is Ida Little . again the book is some combination of coastal cruising and beach camping , cant seem to locate the book at present , if you cant find it let me know , MMsailor @ aol.com,
Two books that I like are "Handbook of Trailer Sailing" by Bob Burgess (he uses a ComPac 16 as an example, but has good ideas that can be applied to all small boats) and "Sailing Big on a Small Boat" by Tom (?) Cardwell, who seems to favor the Catalina 22 but still has good ideas regardless. I bought both books at Barnes
