Solar Panel on a 420

Don, you are right, I'm an idiot.
I took out the solar fuse last week and the new panal had not been wired in. I expected to come back today and find the batteries somewhere low mid 12, but low and behold it was at over 13v.
If I'd only waited a few more hours before I wrote earlier.
If I was smarter I would have suspected something was up when I pulled out the starter battery which caused the inverter and charger to not work.
Boy was I was happy when the new battery fixed that problem. I always had a lower nighttime voltage 12.2 compared to 12.6+ daytime. Could the old panal have been drawing down at night enough to notice that. That's why I though....oh well.
Its dark now....now its showing 13.4v
I still can learn everyday! thank you.
I'll use the excess power though.
