Solar Impulse has taken off again - destination Hawaii.

Click on "FLIGHT 8" at the right end of the ... what, call it a menu bar? (the thin yellow/gold colored bars in the top-right corner of the screen.

Very nice looking picture but don't know what it is of ... Hawaii?

There was a very nice but short video of the actual landing and the congratulations afterward.

So, that was a 8,285 KM non-stop flight from Japan to Oahu with no assistance from any carbon fuels.

Next stop, if everything goes according to schedule: Phoenix, Arizona. And as we sailboaters know, this isn't a train so plans sometimes need to be adjusted.
