Solar Flare and GPS

So far, the Solar-flare-with-the-potential-to-end-life-as-we-know-it doesn't seem to be effecting GPS accuracy very much. I've had my SPOT running in tacking mode for a couple days on the window sill. SPOT is non-WAAS so this is pretty decent performance.

Yea, those AF guys seem to have gotten it right just using historical values of solar radiation and flair strength. course now we have the STEREO space craft that are looking at the sun and they are seeing flares for the first time 24/7 across the whole sun (360 degrees) and of course every little thing is a crisis.

We ARE going to be hearing more of this gloom and doom stuff as the solar cycle heats up over the next few years.

Of course, one possibility is that, given proper scope, your anchor is on Danforth (Road) which may explain the dragging... :D
