Soft shackles for anchoring

I’ve been using a soft shackle instead of a chain hook. After seeing the Mantus version I started to wonder what is the best way to attach a soft shackle to chain and or three strand nylon?

Good question. The Mantus pendant design scares me - I can’t imagine being in a storm at night and needing to haul and reset anchor for some reason. Looks like you’d need to unhook both that screwed on shackle and prusik knot before the anchor rode could be fed through the windlass.

I wonder if a large soft shackle could be used, and tied around the rode in a prusik, then just shackled onto the bridle.
