Soft Deck

The surveyor recommended an area of deck be repaired asap. I had an expert take a look and he confirmed that the deck would have to lifted to further investigate. To understand the problem I read several books on repairing delamination, it did not appear to be to difficult. I am looking for advise from owners that have completed similar repairs.Rick.

Deck repair

We bought a 35 in the spring and our surveyor found deck problems on the transom by the gas tank. We had the yard do the repairs, it was costly but looks good as new. They put teak strips on surface to replace non-skid when they finished fiberglass work.

Delaminated Deck

There were two areas less than six inches in diamater that had delaminated on the deck of my 1980 H37C. One was forward of the hatch over the galley and the other was starboard of the starboard dorado vent. I repared them myself by injecting West System epoxi in small holes drilled in the highest part of the delaminated area with a small hole dirlled at the lowest part of the area. I worked fine.
