Solf Deck Repair
I'll tell you what worked for me.I drilled small (3/16") holes from the top into the solf areas, around the edges and also across the surface.I then injected "non-expanding" insulation foam(any Home Depot or hardware store) into the holes. After the foam had set-up, I redrilled the holes to about a 1/4" depth and sealed/filled them with Marine-Tex. You can use a Dremel Tool to sand/grind down the Marine-Tex to deck level. Using a matching bottle of auto touch-up paint,I "painted over" the Marine-Tex holes. This is not a fancy repair, but it works. Items such as chain plates, cleats or lifelines stantions will need "solid remounting"Good Luck!
