Soda Blasting

I'm looking for a marine soda blasting company in Erie, Pa or some place close to it. I have tried the yellow pages with little luck. I can't sand the boat in the marina where it's at.

How about putting it off a year and find a new marina? We can still sand our own bottoms in NY state.

Even California allows bottom sanding with a vacuum sander. They are not cheap, but they prevent pollution.

can you put a tarp down and use paint stripper? I've refinished plenty of furniture and it works pretty quick. . .and I even stripped my first truck for painting instead of blasting it

Check your yellow pages and look at the tool rental places. I rented one a few years ago. They are pretty easy to use, and fast.

try jim mangus at anchor marine . in erie pa, foot of state street . they do a great sodablast job, at very reasonable cost. are you in lake erie or lake arthur, or both ??

we are actually in both - nauticat 321 at presque isle, and 15 ft skerry chesapeake light craft roving between moraine pittsburg and erie..
