SoCal Hunter Rendezvous

I'm at Catalina Island where we just finished a Hunter rendezvous that was informative and well-attended. We had 55 boats here and were treated to an active three-days. This was largely the effort of H and S Yachts who did a great job. We heard something about a larger Hunter and a one-design concept being evaluated. Anyhow, since I'm here already and the weather is wonderful, I figure I may as well stay another week...Rick D.

An Aside re: SoCal Hunter Rendevous

You know all those posts about "are Hunters any good for blue water", etc? Well, there are a lot of them out there. I met several. I think we don't hear about them much since they might just be too busy doing it. Rick D.

...hang'n out in Catalina, reading an article in Santana mag authored by a couple who have been cruising their Hunter 37.5 world-wide for ten years. Also, there is another 40.5 on a mooring in front of me that sailed from Seattle to Florida. Well, back to watching pelicans. Rick D.
