I just realised I have no idea what my water tankage is.

Standard factory tanks under each sofa, the broker originally said it was 110 gallons, but that's the only place I've seen that. What do the other 36 owners have down for tankage? Also interested in what the other Cherubini models have

I think you will find that it is more like 75 gal. total.

If you look under the Boat Info tab it will give your the specs.

If you have the green anodized aluminum tanks that my 37C has, there is a manufacturer's sticker on them with the tank volume, year built, etc. This site lists the water tankage as 100 gal and the fuel as 45 gal, but according to the stickers, the water tanks are 45 US gal each and the diesel is 35 US gal.

Go to the boat, drain the tank you want to measure, grab your stopwatch, 5 gal bucket and hose. Take the nozzel off the hose and turn on the water. Time how long it takes to fill the bucket. write it down. Now fill the tank in question and time how long it takes to make water come out the vent.
do this math:
tank size = 5*number of seconds to fill the tank / number of seconds to fill the 5 gal bucket
if you have a 2.5 gal bucket replace the "5" with "2.5"

No big deal many of us do not know or have forgotten the actual capacity of our water tank(s). The size of the tank by itself does not mean much. For the information to be useful you would need to know your average daily usage and with so many variables at play a useful average daily usage is very hard to obtain. The very best we can do is to learn through experience in different situations how long has a full tank lasted. I can understand that a sailor in an ocean crossing will need to know how to ration his water usage according to the boat's ability to carry it but we as coastal cruisers are seldom more than a few hours away from a fresh water source.
