Rumor has it that there are three staterooms forward of the galley and salon, the galley and salon are cockpit level so that it is a true PH version and that it in fact has a dinghy garage. I check the website daily but maybe we won't see pictures until the Annapolis Boat show starts on October 8.

I was on this boat at the Annapolis boat show. Mr. Marlow was on the boat as well. Beautiful boat. I hope I got this right, as Mr Marlow described the construction as the hull and deck are like the fuselage of a large airplane when it comes to handling the stresses on the boat and the interior are just partitions. High main salon made it really nice and open. Would be a great live aboard boat.

Mikem: I was afraid to ask as I would have to stop dreaming.

Scott: Sorry! But it was gorgeous so I'm sure we'll see write-ups in the boating publications.

I think it must be a prototype as I found zero mention on the Marlow Hunter website.

I did a quick tour of this boat at the boat show on Monday. The level of fit and finish was high. The pilot house was long...as long as the trunk cabin on other models. Cockpit was wide and it had a center steering pedestal that pivoted to one side or the other so the helmsman could be close to the rail on either side. There was a dinghy garage below the cockpit. There were three staterooms... a centerline queen forward was the master with a head on the stbd side and a separate shower stall on the port side. There were two other staterooms. One on the port side had a Pullman style queen. On the starboard side was a smaller stateroom with a single bunk that could be extended to a double, but leave little floor space. The deck forward of the mast was flush, and the entire non skid area was a rubbery glued on surface that was tan in color and very comfortable on bare feet. Marlow-Hunter seems to be following Beneteau in making monohull accommodations more like catamaran accomodations recognizing that most people don't sail the oceans....they party!

Racine Riverside Marine posted some pics from the Show. Neat feature is the tilting steering pedestal.

Also, MH site now has pics up.

At first I was pretty excited about the dingy "garage". It doesn't look big enough though to accommodate an inflated RIB with the motor attached. If that is the case I would still use davits relegating the "garage" to inaccessible storage.

I thought the same thing on the dinghy garage. Have to lift the dinghy over the tailgate and into the garage. Would not want to have to get it out in an emergency.
