We continue to work out some of the bugs on our 1985 Catalina 30TR and have had some excellent sailing experiences. The next two bugs are: The electric panel at the nav station refers to a sump pump. When I turn it on the alarm on the engine panel sounds and that is about it. Is this supposed to be the manual switch for the bilge pump? If so any ideas on how to trace out the circuit? The bilge pump works fine in auto with the float switch. Has anyone had a problem removing the cap from a groco raw water strainer? Mine appears to be stuck and won't spin off. Luckily it has not plugged up but I am sure it is only a matter of time. Marc P
