I'm not sure what type or size you need but as a former industrial purchasing manager I can say there are two basic types the 'sprirolox' style and the 'Truac' style. Other's manufacture copies of these. Any local business to business that specializes in bearing will carry these. Most have over the counter sales. Measure the shaft diameter and the groove diameter and width or the Bore and groove minor diameter and width. Even better if you have the old one to take along. I assume you want stainless.

I have a Merriman/Yacht specialties steering with the 1" keyed shaft. Go to www.mcmaster.com and enter this part number 91590A133. 2 of these are perfect for this steering shaft. They come 5 to a bag.

Yes, but when they cause the shaft to start corroding, it'll be more than enough to make up the difference.

Mcmaster's SS snap rings are $8.13 for a 5 pack. Add a couple of bucks for shipping. They ship from different warehouses across the US and you will likely get them in 3 days or less.
