Visiting for a week. My First Mate's sisters and brother-in-law from Upstate NY will arrive today. SML may ever be the same!

Went out for a very brief ride today. Best $4.50 I ever spent on a map. GORGEOUS lake! Happy to report the stink boaters show no more courtesy to sailboats here than anywhere else. At least I feel at home.

At least you have some wind I guess. lately it seams like we have to have a storm to get over 5 knots. last night, motored out to Hart-Miller island picnic dinner on the hook, gorgeous sunset , smooth motor in..better than nothing`!!.

Southern Belle from SML found a new home on Lake Hopatcong. She has been circling the lake all summer.

I realized after posting that "sail" wasn't exactly the right word. We did get to sail some yesterday. Beautiful lake regardless of the wind. Or lack thereof.

Just finished loading and rigging for travel back home. SML is a beautiful lake with VERY friendly people. Stiff winds yesterday. Just right for our crowd. We don't know when, but we'd like to come back sometime.
