It appears to me that ALL SAIL BOATS are over 36 ft with deep keels....Does anyone own a fixed keel...swing keel...centerboard boat between...say...18 to 26 foot??? Ihave recently obtained my second boat...(a '74 Macgregor 21 upgrade from a 16 ft. dingy...have VERY LITTLE experience...though I did take and pass the ASA Basic Keelboat course...Even though I have very little self confidence, I am slowly becoming quite comfortable with my boat GINGER under mainsail ONLY...I would love to find someone with more experience than I have as a sailing partner whereby I can pick up some good pointers ASS WELL AS raise the Jib when I go out.....ANY TAKERS?? Pine harbor...Lake Logan Martin, Alabama

Gaining experience

Similiar situation. Owned a Cal 25 since early May. No previous experience. I intend to crew on other boats during the next few weeks while club racing. I'm positive I will learn a bunch. So if you can't find somebody to teach you on your boat, you might try that. BTW, where is Pell City? We sail at Pickwick in the very northwestern part of AL.
