I've been trying to register my pleasure 30' sailboat with CBP in the Small Vessel Reporting System to get a BR#. I have applied on line and received a confirmation number, but have not received approval. How long does it take? Is there a phone number you can call to register over the phone? The contact email doesn't generate any results.
I have a Nexus. I have a DTOP number. Located on Lake Ontario near Rochester. I know I don't need one, but it would speed up the reporting process. Thanks.
