Small Solar Vents

Has anybody tried these?

They look like they might be an inexpensive way to trade small (2 3/4" diameter) passive vents for solar powered.

If you already have the hole ... maybe? I'd question the long-term durability of an RV vent in a marine environment.

I have two 2 3/4" diameter holes covered by Lewmar passive vents ( no fans). The "marine environment" here in Arizona is pretty dry . My main concern is the effect of the heat.
