Strider's oceanographic laboratory is finally set up and all the science gear stowed. We had the investigator from UNH up today to deliver the equipment and show us the drill. I'm finally getting to the point where the "To Do" list doesn't wake me up at 3:00 in the morning.
When I was first involved with oceanographic vessels, the computing power shown here would have filled a 12' x 9' air conditioned room and the little instrument in a cage seen peeking over the containers in the quarter berth would have been the size of a VW bug.
