Slowly getting closer to the water

Started buffing and waxing the hull today. Can hardly lift my arms but the starboard side is DONE. Tomorrow the port side..

I can just barely lift a RUM and coke to my lips, but I'll suffer to make it happen...

Just remember Jim, if it gets too painful you can always have Joan pour the rum down your throat. :)

I have some IV bags at home. We can refill them with the "juice" of choice. This will allow you to continue to buff/wax without taking your hands off the machine.:dance:

Jim....what you need is a Camelback! Fill that with your rum and coke and you will be VERY happy to be buffing and waxing. Also, when you are done, the Spirit of Liberty is a stranger to wax and she would love for you to come and clean her up!

We were looking for someone to wax the topsides and a good friend recommended some locals for the job. Pleasent surprise when two girls showed up and stripped down to their bikinis and went to work. Just sat there sipping my rum & water and making sure they did not miss a spot. Pretty soon the neighbors started showing up; must have been for the rum. Thinking of charging admission next time. The admiral was not as enthusiastic but agreed they did a good job.

Which marina do you keep your boat in?


Mother passed away April 10, she was diagnosed with lung cancer about 10 days prior. She said that's it, I'm out of here...
