Just getting back to this one - wow - how on earth to get in there and correct that !
Access to getting in there is by removing the back wall in the aft cabin (8 screws in all), that opens up the entireWhat's above it?
area, waste holding tank, fuel tank, all control cables etc.
Above it is the removable floor access panel in the port rear locker. The hardest part is getting all the ”stuff“ I have stored in there, out of there first. From there I can remove the hoses from the top of the tank.
The other ends of the hoses are another issue, there is “some” access to the vent and fuel connections but it will take some real contortions and cutting to get at them. That’s why I haven’t tackled that job yet. It was enough just to get my remote Mic cable into and out of the wire harness and up into the pedestal for me right now.
I have thought about what Joe and you have suggested though….just remove the hose and shorten it a bit. But also add a hose bracket somewhat like they have on washing machine discharge hoses to get into the tall trap pipe and hold the shape of the hose without kinking it. All for another day for now.
