I think the future for us sailors calls for more yacht clubs with mooring fields and land areas for Winter boat storage. I am thankful to be in a fine marina at present. Before I got here though I was in several other marinas that seemed to go out of their way to show hostility to the boat owners. As those past marinas changed ownership, things always got worse. Once you encounter hostile management at your marina, expect that attitude to filter down through all the staff. When you have had enough and can take no more, you may find there is no other place to go.
