I'm planning on hauling 'Cirrus' next month, for some much overdue maintenance. Could someone please tell me the proper sling locations for a 1984 H27. Also, once hauled, is it critical where the jack-stands are placed ? I'm thinking that the stress should be carried by the bulkheads, if possible. Thanks for your help. Al

Bulkheads is correct.

Interesting that the sling frame at our marina is fixed length. And my boat is not marked but they always get it right. It has never been in the sling without me being present. On my H37C the slings line up with the bridgedeck(companionway bulkhead) aft and the v-berth bulkhead forward. You could mark those two points with tape I suppose.

Stands on the keel

The keel takes the weight. The jackstands (at the bulkhead) are there to keep it upright. David Lady Lillie

Most sailboats that I've seen have the sling...

locations labeled beneath the toe rail. Check your boat for these labels, they should be there. Terry
