Slap Slap Slap - trying to sleep - Slap Slap Slap

While on my 320 the other night in the aft berth I was driven to distraction by the slap slap of water under the transom. I remember on my 280 that it was very quiet back there. The 320 transom must rise either a little more or a little less and allow the slapping noise. I suppose this might not be as big a problem at anchor since the waves would be coming head on but in my slip it's driving me nuts. I seem to recall something you could hang from the transom to stop the noise. I may have seen it with regard to power boats - just can't recall the details. Might have been some baffles. Any suggestions for a quiet night's sleep? Thanks

Slap silencer

Go the archives and read everything already written about the slap silencer. It's AWESOME and sold right here on HOW. As I've said before the best $200 I ever spend on my boat! Bob Knott H380

Slap Stopper

You can order a Slap Stopper right here at the HOW store. I did and it works great! We are on Lake Michigan and it practically eliminates most of the noise. A breeze to put on and take off. It is low tech but works great!
