Skinner valve how does it work??

Anyone tell me what the valve is for on the gas line just after the gas tank,? I think its a skinner valve? Theres gas in the bottle but none getting to the stove ?

you should have a solenoid valve - which is an electrically operated valve. It is a requirement that the propane be shutoff "inside" the propane locker when not using the stove (or other device) - I have a lpg circuit breaker plus a switch with a idiot light at the stove and at my cabin heater. look around for the switch it has to be within reach while standing at the stove, turn it on - if you don't see the idiot light come on - go to your panel and look for an appropriate CB.

Thanks i figured it out after posting, didnt know there was a switch in the cabin,
