Last summer when attempting a boat to boat transfer, my shower outlet skin fitting got knocked off. It is plastic, above the waterline, is (I believe) 1/2inch BSP to19mm hose right angle and is marked Rule.

Does anyone know where I can get another this size as I would prefer not to drill the hole bigger if possible.

Thanks

Should be a standard fitting.

Take it off (because you'll have to anyway) and take it to your local chandlery and I'll bet you'll be able to find an exact replacement. The fitting is high enough above the waterline that you can deal with it at your leisure.

I had the exact same thing (except it was the holding tank vent) happen last summer moments before splashing at the conclusion of a haul-out. A mad dash to WM and I found what I was looking for.

Those things are nylon rather than Marelon and get UV degraded.

I have already taken it off and covered the hole with duct tape bedded in mastic.

I have not been able to find anything of exactly the same size at chandlers or on the web.

I will probably change the arrangement anyway and instal a vented loop as well as having the non return valve next to the pump.

Hey Gywn,

I have to confess that I made my last post at work (shhhh, don't tell) so I was speaking a bit off-the-cuff.

I'm onboard now and just had a peak at our hull fitting for the shower sump-pump output.

Ours is a right angle but it doesn't have to be. There's room in the cabinet to do a bit of re-routing so that this might work.

Anyway, just a thought
