Skeg Bolt Location

During the hual-out portion of the survey, it was found that the skeg was lose. (The part that holds the end of the shaft with the cutlass bearings in case my use of the word is wrong)

I've looked for them, but can not find them. The only place to left to look is under the diesel tank. Before I tackle that, can anyone verify that is where they are? If so, what is the procedure to remove the tank?

Thanks

(Also the blower hoses are not connected to anything. Is that normal? The bower switch on the engine panel does nothing...)

I have nothing to say about the strut support, but I will tell you I took my blower system out of the boat completely. I didn't see a reason for having a blower with a diesel engine. When I removed the blower hoses they were full of salt big-time. I took the vents off the back of the boat and patch them with some PC 11. Someone told me that having the blower system would help remove the heat in the engine compartment, I have no problems with the heat in my engine compartment.

Yes. Under the tank for the strut bolts.

A new blower can be had for fairly little money. Mine was missing and the replacement I bought I hung on the bulkhead in the port sail locker. Worth having for me since I have an Abomb.
