I need to purchase a mattress topper for a 1982 Hunter 33. I need to find out whether I need a Queen or double. If I knew the length and width of the v berth cushions that would be helpful. Thanks

I just re-foamed all of the cushions on my 79 H30C. I bought 'firm' foam from an American,
online foam seller, which was cheaper than Sailrite.
The company is Ritchie Foam out of North Carolina, and is online at:
"https://isellfoam.com/t/firm-seat-cushions". 704-663-2533
There are sellers out there, including Sailrite, that sell the white foam in 72" lengths.
My V berth is 76 inches long.
The "I Sell Foam" folks sell white, 24" X 80" foam, which you will need for both your V berth
and salon setees (if you do those as well).
Hope this helps.
G.

What year is your Hunter? I may be going to the boat later today and will measure my 2012 Hunter 33 if that will be any help.

Hello "Hello"
John's 33 is the older, Cherubini version. Not sure your dimensions are the same.

John, have you decided on thickness? An OP may have changed it from original.

I am looking at a 3 inch mattress pad to sit on top of he cushions. Goal is to make the v berth more comfortable for my wife. Happy wife, happy life don’t you know. Anyway, I lan to lay the v berth cushions over the foam and trim the foam to fit. The boat is two hours away in the dead of winter. I want to make sure that pad I order is large enough to fill the entire v berth. Queen? Double? I really appreciate everyone’s help on this.

Oops, my bad. I have target fixation!
Well lets see... 24" wide x 2, plus 27" v berth insert =75 inches wide X 76 inches long in a triangle shape.
Get a Queen sized topper.

FWIW my measurements are 86” along the sides, 79” across the top and 17” across the bottom.
