I am in search of the plastic fitting that transitions between the hand pump at the sink and the PVC tubing leading to the water bag on a '94 H26. The plastic fitting is about 1-1/2" long with a barb fitting for the PVC tubing on one end and a 3/8" straight thread on the other end that mates to the bottom of the pump. Integral with this fitting is a check valve to prevent loss of prime. I recently broke the only one I had left on the boat and haven't found a replacement at the marine supply stores.

just rig one

You could always just buy a 3/8" thread to 1/2" barb fitting. Attach a small length of 1/2inch hose to a 1/2" check valve. That seems like it should work. West Marine sells both items. You may have to call their catalog sales in order to find them though. Many of their stores don't carry everything. But I know they have these parts.

Call Hunter

You can get a replacement from Hunter. I did this a couple years ago. Bob Gravenstine S/V Gravyboat

replacement?

Has anyone found a good substitute faucet. I've had this check valve break a couple of times, and it will happen again.

Replacement Part

Call Hunter, the part is only $2.50 a piece. I broke the one in the galley a couple of weeks ago trying to replace the line they get pretty brittle. I ordered five. They were cheeper than the shipping. Carl S/V Wind Shadow
