Sink Drain

When you slide the Stove/Sink unit into place, does the drain for the sink lead to the same thru hull as the cockpit scupper drains? Also, how do you supply water for the sink?

hello Stan, yes it uses the same drain, if you remove the companion way step, you can look under things and see it. When you fill the water tank in the galley, it goes directly to the sink faucet.john

John is there an Ice chest Drain?

Thanks for the reply. Is ther a drain for the ice when it melts, or do you need to scoop out the water?

hello Stan, no there is no drain for the ice chest, if it gets water in it, you will need to dip it out. It makes a better storage box. I keep the first aid kit, sail repair kit, spare bulbs, odds and ends in it.john
