Sink area Cover

Well... IMHO it's still nice to have. We use it for things like washing hands, rinsing coffee cups, brushing teeth in the morning after an overnight, etc. I would agree it's not much good to wash dishes. I use a wash basin in the cockpit if I have something big to wash. But like Doehunter, I like to try to get away with using no dishes. I make omelets in a plastic bag set in boiling water and eat it right out of the bag. There's all kinds of boil in a bag stuff you can buy at the grocery store, no need to dirty pots/pans.

But I wouldn't want to eliminate the sink. I do like to be able to cover it up when not in use, increasing the very limited counter space

That is beautiful, and functional! I am also going to update mine in a similar manner, I can only hope it ends up half as nice.
