i have pieces coming to rig my 86 h23 all lines aft for singlehanding. problem is: there is precious little space on the cabin top to run the lines fair. i had hoped to run both halyards to the starbord side through a double clutch but at the right front of the "cabin top" where i would want to turn the lines and head them aft, it is pretty narrow and on a slant. i can place a double organizer a bit fatrher forward but then it looks like i wont have a straight shot all the way to the double clutch i have coming. i'm sure it can be done but i want as clean and simple as possible. anyone that has done this got any suggestions? pictures would be appreciated. tia.....

One word for you ...

Fairleads (or is it two words: fair leads?). Anyway, deflect the line around the molded grab bar bases with two bulls eye fairleads. I have done this with mine, though I don't have a picture. Mike posted one recently (see the link below). A fine looking boat.

excellent picture

thanks, this is excatly what i was needing. i do have some fairleads coming with the other stuff. (just in case i needed them :) i'll be coming off the mast a little differently but starting with the deck organizer that looks like exactly what i have planned. (i had hoped to be able to do without the fairleads tho to have a little cleaner setup.)
